An Apostle should be a person who has been filled with the anointing and gifts of the Holy Spirit for ministry. He has walked through all that the Holy Spirit has given him to walk through, all of the five Altars of the tabernacle and has overcame the world. There are those who the Holy Spirit will use to manifest the anointing and fruit of the
Spirits in their body, soul and spirit and to bring a fresh revelation or an ongoing revelation to the Church. Their ability to see an open heaven, to be able to know the purposes of YAHVEH for an individual, local or corporate church is very essential. An Apostle will always have the ability to perform miracles, their primary gifts will be healing, faith, miracles, words of wisdom, discerning of spirits, and prophecy. An Apostle moving in the gifts of their calling, who has the authority of reproving, correcting, directing, and instructing in the Rhema Word.

Only when all the other four ministries acknowledge and hold on to the position of the Apostle can the spiritual battle be won against the flesh. It takes all five ministries working together, in order for the flesh to be defeated. Even in the days of Moses the Mighty Hand the Five-Fold ministry was evident.

Lets look at the situation. Amelek represents a type of the flesh, therefore the war with the Amelekes was a war against the flesh and required a different form of strategy than the war against the powers of darkness. YAHVEH totally defeated the Egyptians (world power) for the Yisraelites, but they had to fight the flesh the Amelek themselves. It took the involvement of all five ministries to wage a successful war against the flesh. It is only when the other ministries supported the Apostolic ministry that the flesh can be defeated. The flesh like the river Jordan is the final stage before entering our Promised Land. The cross of the Messiyah represents the process YAHVEH ordains to overcome the flesh.

Moses was on the mountaintop of his spiritual maturity resting on the rock, which is Yahushua, with His hands raised in worship. Aaron, the Teacher, was standing with Moses and holding up one of his hands. Hur the Pastor was standing on the other side of Moses holding up his other hand. Miriam the Prophet was at home taking care of the women, young and aged. Joshua the Evangelist was on the front line leading the intercessor army; empowered by those ministries who were with Moses conducting spiritual warfare. Moses had to win the war in the heavens before it could be won on earth. Too often the church does not overcome because it does not do it YAH’S way.

It takes the combined ministry of the Five-Fold ministry to exposes and deal with all that the flesh has in store for us. The flesh is the most formidable enemy that the believer has to deal with. We as believers have to face the flesh every single day; this is why the intercessor ministry is so vital to the church’s success.

Superiority in the air usually means success on the ground. The Gulf War commander said He pity the enemy who try to come up against the USA Air force, they will be shock-and-haw. The Churches should have spoken these words, when dealing with the enemy. The Apostolic Office is like our Air force, protecting our Joshua (Evangelist) who is binding the strong man before we can plunder his stronghold. Too often our local church ventures out in the local community only to return defeated. We forget that there are layers of authority in the spiritual realm. We might venture out for a while, but when the enemy of greater authority sees our campaign we have no chance against it, for the correct spiritual covering was not established. Complete and total air superiority was established before the USA sent in the ground troops during the Iraq War. Even with that covering the ground troops needs to be protected by armor. Our prayers will not be answered if the right procedure is not followed, the war could not be won if the chain of command from the President down were not established and followed. No wonder the churches of today fall short of the fullness of the blessing of YAHVEH.
