Brazen Brass
The primer metal in the outer court is
brass the metal that symbolizes redemption, a form of judgment of the flesh, or
looking at one self. Lets look at the definition of Brass:
1.
The Greek name chalkos primarily means, “copper,” bronze, a mixture of copper and tin, were in
general use for metals in e.g., money, Matt. 10:9; Mark 6:8; 12:41, or as sound
instrument, 1 Corinthians. 13:1, figurative of a person destitute of love. See
Rev. 18:12.
2.
chalkeos ,
“made of brass or bronze,” is used for idols, mirrors Rev. 9:20
3.
chalkion is used in Mark 7:4 of “brazen vessels.”
4.
chalkolibanon is used of “white or shining copper or
bronze,” and describes the feet of YAHVEH, in Rev. 1:15 and 2:18.
The
Church will always meet with opposition; Nehemiah gives an example of the
opposition that was arranged against building the temple. When He started the
tremendous task of restoring the wall, they faced nothing but mockery.
Nehemiah 4:3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Whatever
they build, if even a fox goes up on it, he will break down their stone wall. Like most enemies it
usually starts with a war of words, in an attempt to discourage the work of YAHVEH,
but soon the mockery will change to violence, when they realize that the
mockery does not work and also that progress was made regardless of the verbal
assault.
The enemy will always try to discourage those
going into the ministry first with words, then with violence. It is sometimes
necessary for the builders of the church to arm themselves spiritually while
building the individual and corporate temple. Believers are a lively stone
being placed into their respective position in the Body of The Messiyah. It is
necessary to have the Office of the Evangelist to perform spiritual warfare
while the other ministries build the Church. If YAHVEH through the Mighty Hand
ministry is going to restore the church to its former glory, we are going to
find it necessary in the near future for the Evangelist to put on the whole
armor of YAHVEH. Mockery will give way to violence, and soon force will be the
weapon of choice, when the Devil realize that the saints are being mature at an
alarming rate. After salvation the Evangelist turns over the spiritual development
responsibility to the office of the Pastor.
In His parting words
to the disciples Yahushua stated, Acts 1:8 “You
shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all
Judea and Samaria
and to the end of the world.”
